Vince McMahon and Fabulous Moolah held women’s wrestling back for decades but Trish Stratus and Stacy Kiebler (the women in the clip) are still legends. It’s a shame they weren’t able to do more proper wrestling alongside this stuff at the time. Thankfully women’s wrestling eventually recovered and has been thriving for years. Toni Storm is my current favorite, she’s incredible.

I grew up in the Attitude era (I was more of a Lita guy myself but Stacey is such a babe). Crazy thing is these stunts wiped out family-friendly WCW but cost the WWE so much money in lost advertising revenue. They were blacklisted by McDonalds and a bunch of other big spenders because it got too risqué for their brands to be associated with it.
But… when you were 14 this was the most awesome shit imaginable.
